Here’s a list of the best spices you should try if you’re looking for some new ways to spice up your baking.
Some of these are pretty pricey and won’t be available in stores, but if you can find them, it’s worth the wait.
If you’re feeling adventurous, you can also try the Spice Girls Naked Spice Cupcakes.
The recipe is inspired by the Spice Girl, and the cupcakes are delicious.
The ingredients for this spice cake include: 1/2 cup almond milk (I used almond milk) 1 cup powdered sugar 1 tablespoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 2 tablespoons cornstarch 3 tablespoons pure vanilla extract 1/8 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons fresh ground pepper For the spice cake, in a food processor, combine the almond milk, powdered sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cornstech, vanilla, and salt.
Process until it forms a dough that’s sticky, but still elastic.
Set aside to cool.
In a small bowl, mix together the almond flour, powdered salt, and powdered sugar until it is light and fluffy.
Using your hands, fold in the egg yolk mixture.
Shape into a ball and roll into a log about 1 inch thick.
Place the log on a baking sheet and place in the fridge for about 15 minutes.
When ready to use, brush the spice cakes with some of the almond butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon and ground cloves.
Notes *I added 1 teaspoon of cornstoch for extra spice, and 2 tablespoons of pure vanilla for the sweet notes, but it was pretty bland for this cake.
